The Vision - 10 years from today

I’m packing up the office. 

It’s a bittersweet day as I do the final paperwork.   It’s been a long hard road to here, but we’ve finally arrived.  Students are performing well in all schools from rural to urban to suburban; education has been highlighted as something that communities realize is the greatest future resource and every community gets adequate funding and support. 

Reflecting and causing this, teaching is a well paid and sought after job which breeds better teachers, students, schools. . . The effects of this scholastic boom are readily apparent in our everyday lives, better medicine, better foreign relations, shifts in priorities, better lives. 

It’s a fulfilling day and I wonder what I’ll do next, perhaps I’ll go back to school.
